Marriage

Marriage is a sacred covenant and a sacrament in the Catholic Church. In this sacrament, a baptized man and woman freely vow to share a life-long, faithful, and loving commitment to one another, open to the gift of children.

Through the grace of God, husband and wife are strengthened to live out these promises and to grow together in holiness. Their loving union reflects the very love Christ has for His Church — a love that is free, faithful, fruitful, and forever. In this way, married couples not only mirror God’s love but embody the presence of Christ in a unique and tangible way.

Marriages are celebrated by appointment. Please contact the Parish Office on 02 4324 3962 . A minimum of six (6) months’ notice is required.

Couples preparing for marriage are encouraged to explore the Catholic Engaged Encounter or other approved marriage preparation programs to help them enter this sacrament with faith and understanding.
